Povzetek
Prešernov dan oz. slovenski kulturni praznik praznujemo 8. februarja. Že nekaj let imam ob tem prazniku kulturni dan, pri katerem učenci s pomočjo multimedijskih gradiv spoznavajo življenje in delo našega največjega pesnika Franceta Prešerna. Dan dejavnosti traja 5 šolskih ur. V tem času si ogledamo računalniško zgoščenko Jezični dohtar, PowerPoint projekcijo Prešeren – življenje in delo ter 30-minutni dokumentarni film. Ob koncu učenci rešijo spletni kviz. Način dela z uporabo IKT jim je zelo všeč, saj ne potrebujejo nalivnikov, učbenikov in zvezkov, pa se vseeno zelo veliko naučijo. Za učitelja je pomembno, da na začetku izbere dobro gradivo in razmisli, kako ga bo učencem predstavil. Naslednja leta lahko gradivo dopolnjuje, zamenja z drugim … Ideja bi se lahko s kulturnih, vsaj delno, prenesla tudi na ostale dneve dejavnosti – naravoslovne, tehniške, celo športne dneve.

Abstract
8th of February is an important Slovenian cultural day dedicated to the greatest Slovenian poet, France Prešeren. For several years now on this day, my students learn about the life and work of France Prešeren using different means of media. Activities which last about 5 hours include watching computer CD Jezični dohtar, PowerPoint projection on Prešeren’s biography and a 30-minute documentary film. At the end students take an online quiz. Students enjoy gaining knowledge with ICT, especially since ICT gives them the opportunity to learn more without the use of pens, textbooks and notebooks. It is of prime importance for the teacher to choose a good starting material and consider how the material will be introduced to students. Then, in further years, learning material can be supplemented or replaced. The idea introduced here could be, at least partially, transferred use of ICT to activities at other thematic days such as science, engineering or even sports days.
