Povzetek

Računalništvo v oblaku je sedanjost in prihodnost. Pomembno je, da to rešitev čim prej spoznamo in pri svojem delu tudi začnemo z uporabo. Kot učitelji imamo možnost, da o tem poučimo že naše učence, seveda z vsemi prednostmi in slabostmi.
V prispevku želim pokazati uporabo oblaka v naši osnovni šoli, tako s strani učiteljev kot učencev. V kupu ponudnikov oblačne storitve smo se odločili za uporabo storitve Google Apps, ker nam ponuja tako postavitev spletne učilnice kot tudi shranjevanje v oblak in še mnogo več. Google Apps je povsem brezplačna rešitev za šolstvo in je v celoti tudi v slovenskem jeziku.
Učenci in učitelji imajo tako vse svoje šolsko in domače delo shranjeno v oblaku in nimajo težav z drugimi prenosljivimi shranjevalnimi mediji. Vsebina jim je vedno na voljo, naj bodo doma ali v šoli, naj imajo računalnik, tablico ali pametni telefon. Vse je vedno pri roki. Vse, kar potrebujejo, je le internetna povezava, kar pa dandanes ni več problem. Učitelji imajo tudi postavljeno spletno učilnico, kjer so objavljene različne stvari, ki so pomembne za učence.
Vse to in še mnogo več le z uporabo ene storitve Google Apps.

Abstract

Cloud computing is the present and the future. It is therefore very important to get familiar with this option as soon as possible and to start using it in our work. As teachers we are also in the position to introduce it to our students together with all its advantages and disadvantages.
In my article I wish to show the use of cloud computing at our school by teachers as well as students. Among the many offers of this application, we chose Google Apps since it gives the possibility to create a virtual classroom as well as cloud storage and more. Besides, it is completely free for use in school and available in Slovenian.
The application allows teachers and students to store their school and home work in a cloud and thus avoid problems with other portable media. They have easy access from home or school from their computer, tablet or smart phone. Everything is always at hand - all they need is internet connection which is nowadays not a problem anymore. Teachers can also create a virtual classroom where they store materials and information relevant to their students.
This and much more is possible by using one option only - Google Apps.
