Povzetek
Kakovosten pouk predstavlja temeljni in nenadomestljiv dejavnik optimalnega razvoja učencev.
Abstract
Quality teaching is fundamental and irreplaceable factor in the optimal development of students. In order to provide it for each student, we must come primarily from the child's prior knowledge, their perceptions and ideas. Cognitive – constructivist model of instruction best guarantees the principle of individualization and personalization of teaching and hence learning because a student himself at various active methods and activities builds his knowledge and uses it in new situations. Learner himself directs his learning process, so he can monitor his progress and evaluates his achievements. Interactive teaching is the realization of the constructivist model, since it adds the dimensions of ICT development to the active methods of teaching. By teaching with i-boards, virtual classroom, learning simulations, learning-teaching games and other interactive multimedia, e-learning materials in the classroom can be more effective for students' thought and cognitive processes. It is especially important in geography lessons to understand and learn about the natural and social processes and their correlations in the region.
Key words: constructivism, geography, interactive learning, ICT
