Povzetek
Ko govorimo o računalniškem opismenjevanju naših otrok in mladostnikov, ne mislimo le na uporabo interneta in nekaj osnovnih računalniških programov, temveč tudi o načinu algoritmičnega razmišljanja – načinu reševanja problemov po korakih. Po mnenju večine tistih, ki znajo programirati, je treba osnovna znanja in prve programerske prijeme usvojiti čim bolj zgodaj. Starost otrok v tretji triadi bi bila za uvajanje programiranja ravno pravšnja.
Problem programskih jezikov za pisanje programske kode je ta, da so zelo strogi glede sintakse in se marsikomu zamerijo, še preden spozna vso lepoto in čare programiranja. Pri tem nam sedaj v precejšnji meri pomaga program Scratch, pri katerem so vsi elementi oblikovani kot grafični gradniki, ki se jih le sestavlja skupaj in tako nastane program.

Abstract
When talking about computer literacy of our children and youngsters, we do not think only of internet use and some basic computer programmes, but also the way of algorithmic thinking – problem solving step by step. According to majority of computer programmers, the basic knowledge and programming skills need to be obtained as early as possible. The age of children in the third triad would be just appropriate.
The problem of programme languages necessary for writing programme codes is that these programmes are syntactically demanding and many people tend to resent them even before they actually get to know the beauty and magic of programming. In this case, the programme Scratch tends to be very useful, where all the elements are designed as widgets, which need to be compiled together and this is how the programme is created.
