Povzetek

Poslanstvo strokovnih delavcev v vrtcih je ljubezen do otrok, stroke in razvoja. V Vrtcu Trnovo ustvarjamo pogoje, se oborožujemo s kompetencami in veščinami za otroke nove dobe, ki se zaradi obilice informacij, dostopnih na vsakem koraku, spreminjajo v prave »male genije«.
Z uvajanjem novih tehnik, tehnologij in izsledkov vseh znanosti v vzgojno- izobraževalne procese omogočamo našim »malim genijem« najboljše od najboljšega.
Vrtci imamo pomembno in odgovorno vlogo v otrokovem razvoju, saj poteka vzgoja sodelovanja in povezovanja tu in sedaj, pri čemer prihodnosti ne poznamo. Zato je pomembno, da ustvarjamo pogoje, v katerih bo vsak posamezen otrok pridobil pomembna orodja in razvil strategije delovanja, ki so njemu lastna.
Ena od pomembnih razvojnih nalog, ki je postavljena pred vzgojitelja, je uporaba informacijsko-komunikacijske tehnologije, ki dviguje kvaliteto vzgojno-izobraževalnega dela.
Sodoben strokovni delavec vrtca mora imeti znanja in kompetence v strokovnem delovanju, hkrati pa mora biti povezovalen, inovativen in kreativen v sistemu, v katerem glavno in povezovalno vlogo odigra strokovno sposoben, razgledan, profesionalno kompetenten in osebnostno zrel ravnatelj.

Abstract

The mission of the kindergarten professional staff is the affection for children, the profession and the development. In the Trnovo kindergarten we create the conditions; we equip ourselves with competences and skills for the children of the new era, who are, because of the vast amount of information, available to them at every step, turning into real »little geniuses«.
By introducing new techniques, technologies and findings of all sciences into the educational processes we enable our »little geniuses« the best of the best.
Kindergartens have an important and responsible role in a child's development as the education of cooperation and integration is happening here and now, not knowing the future. That is why it is important to create the conditions in which every individual child will acquire significant tools and develop his or her own working strategies.  
One of the important development tasks, placed before a kindergarten teacher and educator, is the use of Information Communication Technology which increases the quality of the educational work.
A modern member of the kindergarten professional staff must possess knowledge and competences in the professional functioning, whilst at the same time be integrative, innovative, creative within the system in which the main and the integrative role is played by a professionally capable, well-informed, professionally competent and personality-wise mature kindergarten principal.
