Naša raziskava pojasnjuje odnose in poglede dijakov in učiteljev glede teh inovativnih sprememb in skuša preučiti odzive šolske skupnosti na novosti (v Grčiji). Dve leti smo preučevali vzorec dijakov srednje pokline šole v Atiki, da bi zabeležili in preučili poglede in odnose dijakov do uporabe novih tehnologij v izobraževalnem procesu. Statistične podatke smo analizirali z analizo SPSS in rezultati so vzpodbudni.
Abstract
In our study we investigate the students’ attitude and views on the application of new technologies in the educational act in vocational schools. Vocational High school students and teachers were called to answer questions about the use of using the new technologies in the educational act. Specifically, responding to the Pedagogical Institute’s demands and those of the curriculum, teachers were forced to readapt their teaching subjects and include the computer, the corresponding software and the internet in the educational process, so that the lesson could meet the demands of the modern school. Our research comes to clarify the attitudes and views of the students and the teachers concerning these innovative changes and tries to study the school community’s reactions towards the new – for the Greek reality- developments. We studied a sample of students in the last two years of Vocational High school in Attica, in order to record and study the students’ views and attitudes towards the use of new technologies in the educational act. The statistic data was analyzed with the SPSS and the results were encouraging. Moreover, the interviews helped us to better understand both the students’ and the teachers’ attitude toward the new technologies. The majority of the participants appear to be well disposed towards the use of new technologies and the combination of traditional and group cooperation teaching and the interdisciplinary link with other subjects of the curriculum. Finally, we should note that both the students and the teachers remain skeptical about the use of new technologies in the educational act, as, as commonly admitted, there is not the necessary software that would allow the conduction of innovative programs in High School.
